CITY TOUR + 04 RUINS IN CUSCO (4 hours)

We start the city tour at 13:30. We first visit the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun. Later we head to the Plaza de Armas (Square of Arms) where we can admire the cathedral whose interior is decorated with carved cedar and alder and the “La Compañia” Church. Afterwards we go to the archeological park of Sacsayhuaman where we visit the fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Here there are immense walls that are overlaid platforms with a length of 360 meters.

We also see the ruins of Kenko consisting of rocky stairs in zig-zag where we admire passages and ceremonial canals carved in rock, the fortification of Puca Pucara consisting of railings, stairs, passages, towers and platforms, the baths of Inca “Tambomachay” considered a place of worship and adoration of water. After 4 hours of the guided tour we return to our hotel.
