                                         MACHUPICCHU

This colossal construction is one of the most visited archeological sites in South America. It is located on the eastern slopes of the Cordillera Vilcanota at a elevation of 2350 meters and 112 Km from Cusco. It was built in the 15th century by the Inca culture. The exact cut of the stone and its use in building cause admiration by the locals and foreigners which is why it was chosen as one of the 7 wonders of the world.
